The name “Wagyu” derives from the combination of the Japanese words WA (Japan) and GYU (Beef). This beef is globally renowned as the ultimate, due to its exceptional quality. To produce this extraordinary meat, Wagyu cattle are raised under specific conditions that adhere to strict guidelines, including a carefully monitored diet and certain climatic conditions. The intense and evenly distributed marbling of the meat contributes to its incomparable melt-in-the-mouth texture and extraordinary hazelnut butter flavor, consistently delivering an amazing culinary experience.
To ensure even cooking, remove your meat from the refrigerator 30 minutes to 1 hour before you begin cooking. At the same time, open the vacuum-sealed bag and allow your meat to breathe. Vacuum-sealed products provide an extended shelf life.
While cooking, it’s advisable to prevent your meat from coming into direct contact with the barbecue flames or excessive grill heat. Preheat your cooking equipment to medium-high heat for a few minutes prior to adding the meat. Due to its extreme marbling, Wagyu Beef is intended to be savored in small portions.
